Not every chest is created equal and from someone who has had a breast reduction at the age of 16, I have learned that not every bra is created equal as well! Trust me from someone who used to have her bras made I have tried out a lot of bras.

Recently I found a company called Natori which was founded by Josie Cruz Natori, that is not only a realistic sleepwear business but has an incredible line of undergarments like bras and panties as well. After trying out their bras I couldn’t agree more. It has been so difficult to find the perfect shape bra before learning about Natori.

I currently have two of their bras for different occasion, my everyday bra is their  bliss contour soft cup, what I love most about it is it has a large backstrap, NO back boobs ha and not to mention it is so freaking comfortable I forget I am wearing a bra! The second bra of theirs I have is their Elusive Full Fit again unbelievably comfortable but has a sexy touch with the lace trim perfect for date night!

“ The beauty behind the Natori brand is that they design their bras for every shape, size and stage in a woman’s life.” – Natori

With that all said, let’s go back to the beginning shall we!, Like I said,  when I was younger I had a breast reduction, I went from a size F to a size c but they’ve continued to grow back so I am a D cup now! However, you did read that right I was a size F at age 16!

It was extremely difficult not only to find a bra that fit but to be a 16 year old girl with boobs large than any other girl my age, heck larger than any adult woman, I had it really did a number on me. Not only emotionally but physically as well. I remember not being able to participate in P.E. because,

“It was distracting to the other KIDS in class.”

To this day, I still have a hard time running because I never built up my lung capacity. It always was SO much work with the extra weight on my chest even though I wore three sports bras!

Not to mention the emotional toll that took on me as a kid! Emotionally it was very hard being in middle school not having any girlfriends because the boys they liked paid more attention to me so they would make fun of me, bully me, point and laugh at me, makeup horrible silly rumors about me. I also never knew if the boys liked hanging out with me because of my personality or because my chest was bigger than their head!

To this day I still deal with both emotional and physical scars from both having large boobs at a young age and the surgery.

Now as an adult it’s been difficult to find a bra because my back is still built for my naturally larger breasts, but I NO longer have them so finding a bra that fits my chest and yet doesn’t give me back boobs is hard to find… until now! For these reasons alone I felt that I should share my story. Not because I wanted to talk about my boobs but because if there is even one person who reads this, (possibly YOU), who can relate to the difficulty of having larger breasts or even finding the right bra for your body type, just know that you are not alone and there are companies out there like Natori armed and ready to help!

So lady boo’s this is my love letter to you, don’t ever think your breasts (whatever size, shape, etc) they are will hold you back from being the best version of yourself! Whether you are a mom, a lady boss, or whoever you want to be, join me and Natori as we OWN OUR BOOBS!

This blog post in sponsored by Natori but all thoughts are my own.
