We use almond milk every day in our home, it is a staple in our smoothies, granola, etc! I have always wanted to try out making my own almond milk so I said, why the heck not! Below I tossed my ring in the hat and boy did it come out delicious! I included where you can get the mason jars!

This homemade almond milk is not only delicious it is creamy, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and paleo-friendly!

Recipe For Homemade Almond Milk
  • 1cups raw almondssoaked overnight
  • cups cold filtered waterplus more for soaking
  • Sprinkle in cinnamon ( optional)
Optional to add in together or one each time,
 1 soaked date
1 tbsp organic honey
Instructions:

Soak almonds overnight.
Drain and rinse the soaked almonds.
Next, you will want to place the almonds in your blender, along with the four cups of filtered cold water. This is where you would add in the optional choices if desired. Blend on high for about 2-3 minutes.  Once blended strain the almond milk through a few pieces of cheesecloth or they sell nut-milk bags now into a large measuring cup. You will want to store the milk into an air-tight storage container.  It will store up to 2-3 days if you don’t enjoy it all at once 🙂
