Easy Vegan Breakfast Option: Apple Pie Oatmeal

Who says you can’t eat pie for breakfast? The funny thing about me is I’m not a sweet person like cakes, pies, cupcakes but I love a pancake, waffle, oatmeal topped with delicious goodies!! Since being with Neil I have learned to love making oatmeal not only because it’s a healthy breakfast option but because it is so versatile!

Below is one of my favorite oatmeal recipes Apple Pie Oatmeal

Apple Pie Oatmeal Recipe🍎🥣

In a pot add, you will want to add the ingredients below!

1 cup of organic fast steel cut oats
1 tsp vanilla extract ( optional)
1 cup of water

Bring this to a boil as you wait for the water to boil.

In another pan heat on low to medium heat
1 tsp coconut oil
1/2 chopped organic honey crisp apple
1 tsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Cook to apples is soft and golden.

Next…..

Once the oatmeal is cooked Cook to the desired consistency. Take off the heat and pour oatmeal into a bowl and top with apple topping, because who says you can’t have apple pie for breakfast!
