Valentine’s Popcorn
Not BIG on celebrating Valentine’s Day, whether you are in a relationship or not. This Valentine’s Day treat is so simple, mixed with a little good and a whole handful of bad, this love concoction is sure to satisfy
What you will need:
Serving size 2
- 2 cups of popcorn kernels or 2 bags of popcorn
- 2 large tablespoons of Coconut Oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 oz of white chocolate
- 1 container Valentine’s Sprinkles
- 1 bag of Conversation Hearts or bag of Valentine M & Ms.
Instructions:
- If you are using bagged popcorn, cook as instructed on the box. If you are using a Whirly Pop Popcorn Stove Top Maker, place one large tablespoon of Coconut Oil in maker with two cups of popcorn kernels. Cook over medium heat, keep turning until all kernels have been popped!
- Melt white chocolate in the microwave approx 1 minute, at 3o seconds pause to check if melted. Once melted pour over popcorn.
- Sprinkle salt, evenly.
- Add sprinkles and conversation hearts. ( We like to do this right when popcorn is hot so it helps melt the sprinkles) YUM
Cooking note: Using Coconut Oil is a healthier alternative than butter,. Coconut Oil helps cut out unwanted fat and helps bring out the taste of the white chocolate, sprinkles and conversation hearts. Hint, the little bit of good!
