It’s an ongoing joke with my friends and family joke that I put hot sauce on my hot sauce; I carry bottles in my purse! What? I like things spicy!
Spicy Up Game Day With El Yucateco Recipes
One of my favorite hot sauces is El Yucateco®, now with no artificial colors and known for being from the field to bottle; and the same great taste that makes it the King of Flavor since 1968. Which is why I love the different flavors and degrees of heat that their hot sauces pack! I put their hot sauce on nearly everything, from my avocado toast in the morning to my salad dressings at night!
Now with football season here, I always find ways to kick up my game time bites, so the heat isn’t only coming from football field but the kitchen as well!
Below, I share two of my main ways I use El Yucateco® Green Habanero Sauce if I am not just pouring it all over my food! El Yucateco® Green Habanero Sauce is made with fresh green habanero peppers, garlic, select spices and seasonings and pairs perfectly with the flavors in my ” Get Off The Sidelines Guacamole” recipe and mixed up in my Hot & Spicy Salad Dressing Drizzle!
Super simple to make and affordable these recipes are sure to bring the game day heat off the field and into your house!

Get Off The Sidelines Guacamole
Ingredients:
Yields 4-5 cups
4 Ripe Avocados
1/2 Medium White Onion, Finely Chopped
1/2 cup Cilantro, Finely Chopped.
6 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
4 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1-1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
2 Tablespoons of El Yucateco® Green Habanero Sauce
Directions:
First, you will want to cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Save a pit for garnish later ( Optional)
Next, you will want to scoop out the inside of the avocado and place into a glass bowl. ( DO NOT USE A MENTAL WHEN MIXING LEMON OR LIMES DUE TO THE ACIDITY THEY GIVE OFF.) Mash together until smooth. Add the onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and El Yucateco® Green Habanero Sauce, combine well. Adjust the seasoning, adding more salt if necessary. Garnish with sliced lime and jalapeno.
I suggest serving the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or you can cover the guacamole with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
You can refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
