Roasted Cauliflower : Vegan Side Dishes

Not too long ago I shared my recipe for roasted broccoli and I spoke of how I would share this recipe soon so here it is! What is so great about both of these recipes is that you can actually cook these at the same time! Which is great if you are having a dinner party,   meal prepping heck even just for dinner at the table with your family! Both recipes are super easy to make and super easy to clean up! I hope you enjoy both of these recipes as much as I do! Please enjoy my roasted cauliflower recipes inspired by my mother!

Ingredients:

1 large cauliflower, washed dried and trimmed and sliced into 3/4 steaks

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp of onion powder

1 tsp of garlic powder

2 tsp of cumin

1 tsp Tumeric

1 tsp of black pepper

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of chills powder  ( you can omit if you don’t like things with “heat”)

Instructions:

First you will want to preheat your oven to 450F

Next you will want to lay your wash, cut and dried cauliflower steaks on a large baking sheet.

In a small glass bowl you will want to combine all the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Mix well! It will sort of look like a paste!

Next using a pastry brush, you will want to brush to coat the cauliflower! My mom taught me this trick so you don’t walk away with yellow hands!

Next place in the oven and bake for 20 to 30 minus or until the cauliflower has caramelized and has some crispy edges!

Next enjoy, this dish is great served hot or cold!
