Peppermint Bark Hot Chocolate
This has to be one of my favorite holiday recipes, it is so simple & makes you feel like you are getting a big jolly old hug from Saint Nick. You can either serve yourself some while watching your favorite holiday special on TV or whip up a batch for your family as you are decorating your house for the holidays.
Ingredients:
Serving size one
- 1 bag of hot chocolate mix, ( either sugar free or regular)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 square of your favorite peppermint bark
- 3-4 large marshmallows
Instructions:
- On the stove heat up one cup of milk over low to medium heat. Once at a boil stir in mix.
- Once incorporated pull off the heat.
- Place peppermint square in the bottom of you cup.
- Pour hot chocolate over, stir.
- Optional toast your marshmallow and place on top.
