3 Ingredient Last Minute Valentine’s Day Goodies
Not only are these last minute Valentine’s Day goodies, delicious and easy to make they are affordable too! No need to be in the kitchen all day, these adorable mini heart shaped pies are wonderful treats to give to teachers, co-workers, friends and loved ones.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Pillsbury pie crust ( in the refrigerated section.) This has two sheets.
- 1 Jar of Nutella
- 1 Jar of Smuckers Strawberry Jam ( flavor to your preference.)
- 1/2 tablespoon butter (melted) optional.
You will need heart shaped cookie cutter!
Direction:
1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees and coat cookie sheet with baking spray.Roll out both sheets of dough and cut out heart shapes about 12. This will make six hearts as you will need a top and bottom.
2.. Place 1/2 teaspoon of Nutella and 1/2 teaspoon of jelly inside heart the bottom heart.Place top and secure the filling by taking a fork and pressing the dough together. Once done, poke holes in the top to allow air in.
3. Bake for 15 minutes, with five minutes left take melted butter and brush on top. Place back in oven for remaining time, when golden brown take out of oven and place on wire wrack to cool. About 5 minutes and ENJOY!
