Simple Tips To Remove Stains
Ever since I was a little kid I dropped everything! There was a good 5 year span where I was not allowed to bring a single dish from the table to the sink. It’s safe to say that my clumsiness followed me through out my adult years and now my clothes are the ones feeling the effects. Which lead me to put my list together for the top stains that my clothes have seen their fair share of, check them out below!
Olive Oil: ( The Italian in me) I can’t tell you how many times olive oil gets on my clothes! It never fails when I am trying to bring the piece of bread soaked in EVOO to my mouth BOOM I am covered! As a repeat offender I learned if you blot the olive oil stain dry with a napkin and sprinkle it with artificial sweetener to help absorb the liquid the stain lessens and you can brush the rest away.
Lipstick: Have you ever dropped your lipstick on your outfit when you are getting ready? ( You can’t see it but I am raising my hand!) Don’t rush to rinse it with water you actually run to the kitchen and grab a metal spoon. Use the metal spoon to pick up any of the big pieces of lipstick than you will want to blot the lipstick stain with a dry cloth. However, depending on the color of the lipstick this method may not get rid of the stain completely. If the stain doesn’t lift, use dish soap and a wet cloth. This method is strong enough to absorb the stain but soft enough that it won’t ruin the fabric.

Grass: My mom loved when we would run into the house with grass stains all over our Sunday school dresses, she would always remain calm and took care of it the old school with a little hand soap water & good old elbow grease.

Coffee: Dab with a cloth and cold water until it come out!
