 unsalted butter

 dark brown sugar tightly packed

granulated sugar

  egg

 vanilla extract

 all-purpose flour

 salt

baking soda

 baking powder

 small chocolate chips

walnuts

  raisins

 Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 on convection bake & spray a baking sheet.

In a glass bowl, you will combine the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and set aside.

Next,  in an electric mixer, you will beat the butter until it is light and fluffy. Once the butter is fluffy you will add in both of the sugars until it turns pale in color.

After you do this, you will add in the egg yolk and vanilla.

Now take the flour mixture and slowly incorporate it into the “wet” mixture and beat just until combined.

Take the mixing bowl out of the stand and stir in the chocolate chips, and raisins and/or chopped walnuts, if desired.

With a small spoon or ice cream scoop, scoop roughly 12 dough balls, and space them evenly on your pre-sprayed baking sheet.

Bake for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and let the cookies sit for about 1 minute before moving them to a wire rack to cool.

                   ENJOY!
