My Birthday BACH in PALM SPRINGS
As I sit here writing this blog post, confirming all the last little details with our wedding vendors as we have postponed our wedding till the fall. I am thinking to myself how lucky I and my girlfriends were to have this moment before everything started to be on lockdown. Literally, the moment we arrived back from my bachelorette weekend it seemed as though we were told we could not leave our homes unless for essential needs.
As a bride, I feel very fortunate that I was able to have this time with 14 of my closest girlfriends as I know many brides haven’t been able to. Let me say this before I recap this weekend. If you are a bride, groom or know anyone who has found themselves in the same position as me, please email, ( just click the word email) or direct message me on my Instagram @moderndaygf.
Whenever things start getting back to normal, ” whatever that will look like,” and you are back to planning your bachelorette, I hope my round-up may help you. We kept prices low but it truly felt like a 5-star weekend!
I chose Palm Springs for my bachelorette because it is where Neil, my fiancé, and I celebrated our first anniversary. For me, it just reminds me of falling in love with Neil, the time we spent, the memories we made. I will always have a place in my heart for Palm Springs. Palm Springs is also perfect for my type of personality laid back but can be fun and festive when it wants to!
As I along with my friends are all no longer 18 years old, we have one glass of red wine now and feel it the next day, when did that happen? A low-key, relaxing weekend in Palm Springs was what everyone wanted and needed!
Like I said before we kept costs low by enjoying meals cooked at home by my sister, Alex, I have included the menu below! Keeping the cost low allowed us to splurge on fun activities like massages from Jentle Touch Therapy by the pool, a preset dinner out at Eight4Nine and a pedal pub party bike.
My girlfriend Elise Joan Fitness taught her Barre Blend workout class in the mornings to get us elevated and get our blood pumping for the day!
Our Menu
Thursday Dinner: A Vegan Lasagna with fresh veggies and homemade cashew cheese and a deliciously light salad.
Friday Breakfast: DELICIOUS veggie frittata with toast and fruit.
Friday Lunch: Homemade Chicken or Veggie Tacos with homemade Guacamole, salsa, chips!
Friday Dinner: Miso Salmon with grilled asparagus, sauteed bean sprouts, cucumber salad, and rice!
Saturday Breakfast: Avocado Toast with a poached egg and fresh fruit
Saturday Lunch: Out but had snacks at home
Saturday Dinner: Preset menu at Eight4Nine ( They were so accommodating and wonderful I highly recommend them)
Sunday: Coffee, bites and hitting the road!
Of course, no bachelorette party is complete without some fun and festive bridal decor from Stag & Hen! They have perfect decor and accessories for every bride and their tribe! Not to mention they are one of the affordable bachelorette sites, I have found and their products are GREAT quality!
