At Home Workout With Bowflex

Let’s get real, never in a million years did I think we would have a stationary bike let alone any other gym equipment in our guestroom but than again, I don’t think any of us saw what was coming for us in 2020.
With 2020 over and a whole new normal set in place, working out and staying healthy has a whole new meaning to me. An avid spin biker, I loved going to our gym to take a spin class a couple of times a week and my husband who is an avid mountain biker loves getting out on the trails feeling the petals beneath his feet. Once March 2020 happen I didn’t know if the gyms would open up anytime soon and even though my husband could go and ride outside, the months from July till about November here in San Diego are becoming brutally hot so biking as much as he would like was cut short. Staying active is important to us whether it is 2020 or not so we talked about different ways we could do that from home.
One night, I was invited to a dinner party Bowflex was hosting, where I got to meet so many amazing like-minded individuals as well as learn about their new Bowflex C6 stationary bike and more. They had it all set up to try and I of course hopped on. The first reaction was the seat was so comfortable, which is thanks to the seat being a race-style high-density foam seat, offering comfort for long rides. I can respectfully say it does just that.
The straps on the petals were easy to adjust as well and they were super easy to slip right into. The biggest selling point for me though was when they highlighted that when using the Bowflex C6 you can digitally connect to popular third-party apps – allowing you to ride with your favorite trainers via streaming on-demand classes from Peloton, or interact, train and compete against others on Zwift. Even if you cancel your app for Pelton, etc you won’t lose console functionality, and the bike can still be used with goal-based program workouts. You can literally strap in and searching spin classes on youtube on your device and boom, you are ready to ride!
Did I mention that the bike’s Bluetooth enabled console allows you to track time, distance, calories, and cadence. You can also monitor their heart rate via the heart rate armband that comes with the bike. What also comes with the bike you might ask? Dual-link pedals with toe cages (included) so you have the option of using standard toe cages or SPD clips. I use the straps my husband uses to clips. Additionally the bike has other custom features like dual water bottle holders and easy-reach cradles with 3 lb. dumbbells.
The bike honestly is my favorite bike I have ridden on, to date, it is a smooth and is built for a quiet ride not to mention it is slim and compact so the bike can fit easily in nearly any room of your home. It fits perfectly in our guest room with a king-size bed and we still have room to spare!
If you can’t tell I am a huge fan of this bike, that why I was so honored to be able to work with Bowflex to share with you their incredible Bowflex C6 bike. I know I say this often but it is true, I don’t share anything I don’t own, use or try out myself and report back my honest review. If you loving cycling like me or just looking for a way to stay active I highly recommend this bike, I will link to the Bowflex website so you can read up on it some more. as I believe in doing your own homework/research on anything you buy. Is it an investment piece? Yes, but if you ask me investing in your health is one of the best things you can do for yourself and not to mention this bike is far less than their competitors and I have to say in my honest opinion better in assembly, comfortable, equipment, durability and more. Please feel free if you have any questions to leave them below, I will do my best to answer them from my own personal experience and happily send any questions I may not know to the brand to help you own your journey!
