Top 5 movies For An At Home Date Night
In a society where we are constantly on the go, we often tend to put not only ourselves on the back burner but our relationships. Trying to find time to have date night can be tricky in itself but carving out an hour or so during the week or at least once a month to put the phones away and spend time together is important to any relationship.
My schedule tends to be unpredictable and often times last minute so having a date night at home helps me make the time to reconnect. One of my favorite ways to spend date night at home is cuddle up on the couch or in bed and watch one of our favorite movies together!
Thanks to Netflix we have thousands upon thousands of movies at our finger tips, which can be a good or bad thing. Too many options can lead to too many ” but what about” & let’s be get real you don’t want to kill the mood by arguing over Transformers 3 vs The Notebook, do you?
Gathering top picks from friends and family and past date night favs. I have put together the top 5 of the best movies for date night at home! Which will be sure to keep you both entertained, off your phones and to land you that sweet kiss you won’t only see in the movies!
True Romance: A classic movie True Romance gives meaning to the saying, “Love at first sight.” Hitting all the relationships highs and lows, True Romance will have you crying, laughing and cheering for these two love birds all the way to the end.
The Fault In Our Stars: This movie has not only made grown men cry( i’ve seen it happen) it also a great reminder of what it means to love selflessly. The Fault In Our Stars is a beautiful story of young love that transcends age, race & gender.
Silver Linings Playbook: Staring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawerence not only are the dudes happy to stare at the screen for two hours so are the ladies! Silver Linings playbook is a wonderful story of two people finding and saving one another.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall: Breaking up is tough especially but when it’s Jason Segal the pain just doesn’t cut that deep. A fun romantic comedy Forget Sarah Marshall reminds us all that ” this to shall pass” so why not laugh during the hard times and smile through the good.
