Homemade Sweet Potato Chips
I recently noticed that Trader Joes came out with a potato chip seasoned with their Everything Bagel Seasoning! I love any kind of chip and their Everything Bagel Seasoning is clutch. Potato Chips are a weakness of mine so we don’t keep them in the house often and I also prefer to make them instead of buying them!
So here we are I had a sweet potato and I had the seasoning so I thought why not. The end result was freaking delicious!
If you try it, I hope you love them as much as we do 🙂
Ingredients.
1 Sweet Potato
4-6 TBSP of Olive Oil
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Sprinkle of Onion Salt ( optional)
Sprinkle of chili powder ( Optional)
Instructions
First you will want to preheat your oven to 400 degrees, next you will want to prepare you baking sheet, I like to use parchment paper, it helps the potato to not stick.
As you wait for the oven to preheat you will want to wash and dry your sweet potato well. Next you will want to use a mandolin as slice your potato thin. I like to use the smallest spacing in size which on many mandolins is about 1/8″.
Next you will want to lay out the slices on your baking sheet and coat the top of the “chip” with olive oil and sprinkle the Everything Bagel Seasoning on top. Cook for about 10 check to see if any chips need to be rotate if so rotate. Bake for another 10 minutes but watch them carefully as they can burn as not all ovens are calibrated equal.
