Monday Motivation
Happy Monday, I hope you all have a beautiful start to your week! Here are five more things I do to stay motivated through out my week. I hope they inspire you as much as they do me!
1. Create A Vision Board: (Seeing is believing) Like I wrote in my previous post, when you write down your task, goals, dreams, etc, you’re more likely to accomplish them and achieve them. According to a Forbes article published in 2014 a study showed, “That 13% of the class who had goals, but did not write them down was earning twice the amount of the 84% who had no goals. The 3% who had written goals were earning, on average, ten times as much as the other 97% of the class combined.”- Forbes.com
2. Celebrate Your Success: Don’t forget to honor yourself and the hard work you put into your day. Even if it is two minutes to sit alone and just breathe or have a glass of wine or two! Do something for you!
3. Remember To Laugh: Laughter can work wonders on your emotional being. Feeling down find pop in a comedy, read a joke, watch a clip of your favorite comedian or go out with friends! Laughter is like medicine to the soul as I always say!
4. Set Benchmarks: Have certain tasks, goals, etc that have a clear and relatively close “due date.” This will help keep you in line with your long term goal.
5. Take a short walk: Get active, the body needs to move and get blood pumping through it, this helps with endorphins which help make your body feel “happy.” Even if it is a quick walk around the office, get up, get out, get moving!
