1.ENGAGE, ENGAGE, ENGAGE:

If you’re really trying to grow your engagement,  you have to view Instagram like a job!

1.Taking an hour in the morning & an hour at night just to engage with other accounts! Engage with their followers as well!

2. Engage with their followers as well, reply or agree to their comments!

3. Search hashtags that relate to your photo and comment on those photos with the same #hashtags

2.CAPTURE THEIR ATTENTION WITH A CAPTION:

Share a story, create relatability, connect with them. It doesn’t have to be a novel but fading are the days of, ” Sunday Funday with x brand get my outfit here.”

3. CALL ON THEM:

This is called a call to action or an ask. Which creates a sense of engagement for both you and your followers!

1.  Ask Them To TAP THAT, ex: Double Tap if :

2. Ask a question, for them to answer in the comments.

3.  Ask them a favor: ex, Click link in bio, Check it out by clicking the link in my profile.

4. PLAN IT OUT!

You don’t have to know everything you are going to post, trust me, 99 percent of the time I have NO idea what will be next, I am a spur of the moment kind of gal with my feed because I share moments, emotions, inspiration and that works for  me but might not work for others! Anyways back to the point, you still want your feeds aesthetic to look cohesive. I use a site called Planoly, to help me see what my feed will look like if I add a certain photo. Check out Planoly here!

5.  THIS IS THE BIGGEST ONE AND THAT’S WHY I SAVED IT FOR LAST!

STAY IN YOUR LANE BY REMEMBERING YOUR WHY!  If there is anything you walk you take away from this quick guide of  Instagram hacks on growing your engagement I hope that it is this. Know your why, why are you sharing this, whether it is because you think it is a great photo or you want to share where you found the perfect summer dress, know your, why and stay true to yourself. Do not compare yourself to others, what might work for them might not work for you. You are uniquely you, don’t try to be like anyone or everyone else! That’s a sure way to get lost in the clutter!
