“Tinder is so 2015, ” said a young girl to her friends at my typical coffee shop. You can imagine I stopped what I was doing to listen to her reasoning.
Who knew online dating had a shelf life?
After listening intently I walked over to the group of girls and told them about what I do and all about The Modern Day Girlfriend. In hopes they didn’t think I was just some creeper listening to their conversation. From there we sparked up a conversation about online dating apps in general the good, the bad, the old, the ugly and the somewhat confusing new dating apps out on the market.
Below are what seemed to be the favorites amongst these girls and looking into them I see why.

Finding your two legged best friend through your four legged one. . Tindog matches you by your preference of dog i.e small dogs , big dogs, etc. Kind of adorable right? I mean come on a dog park for your first date, kinda Nicholas Sparks if you ask me!
At First Sight:
Will you accept this rose, I mean app, I mean app! Created by the host of The Bachelor & Bachelorette, Chris Harrison designed a dating that is kind of like a form of roulette but with your photo. If both people capture the eye of the other they are able to have a 60 minute conversation.
