Blistered Shishito Peppers
When my mom was pregnant with me she loved everything charred, I like to think that is where my love of charred food comes from. That’s why whenever I see shishito peppers on a menu I order them. I just love them, and I always hope I get the spicy one! I never thought of making them at home until now! RECIPE BELOW! They are super easy to make and delicious! ⠀

Blistered Shishito Peppers. ⠀
2 TBSP of Olive Oil ⠀
1 pound shishito peppers ⠀
salt and pepper to taste ⠀
First, you will want to heat your oil in a pan over medium heat in a large skillet like a cast iron. Lay peppers into the pan in a single layer so no pepper is on top of the other. Cook them for 2 minutes, tossing around so every side gets blistered. Cook for another 2 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
