Adult “Boozy” Lemonade
When we were both little girls one of our favorite things to do on the weekends was sell lemonade. We would set up our table, chair, and “Lemonade for $0.50 sign” and shine our biggest 10 year old girl smiles to the passerby’s in our neighborhood. Then after an hour or so we would leave with around $3.00 and feel as accomplished as if we had made hundreds.
To this day, taking a sip of icy tart lemonade brings us back to these childhood memories. While we still love to make batches of lemonade, as we have gotten older we like to kick it up a notch and spike it with booze from time to time.
Simple and refreshing this “adult” lemonade is sure to awaken your palate and cool you down. It is a great cocktail to sip after a long hot day, or serve it at your next pool party gathering!
Please note that this recipe is by the glass not pitcher.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz of Tito’s Vodka
- 1 can Fresca
- 2 medium mint leaves
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4-5 Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Add Ice
- Add one shot of Tito’s Vodka
- Add torn mint leaves
- Pour Fresca to fill glass.
- Mix with cocktail stirrer
