Bridesmaid Weekend With Party City & InterContinental Hotels and Resorts

Can I be honest with you for a second? The one thing that has stressed me out the most during the whole wedding planning process is figuring out my side of our bridal party. At first, I just wanted to have my sister stand next to me and Neil’s brother next to him but Neil really wanted to incorporate his friends in the wedding. Don’t get me wrong so did I but I just got in my head about who out of my friends would be hurt by my choice, if they were to feel “left out”. The last thing I would want is for any of my girlfriends to think that one is more important to me than the other because that is not the truth. Regardless, if they are sitting watching my face or standing beside me watching the back of my head, once you are in my inner circle you are in.

Even though it took me a while to announce my bridesmaids, I have been thinking about how to ask my girlfriends for a while now. I wanted to create a memory, not just a moment. With 6 months to go till the wedding, this girl’s weekend is the perfect way to kick off everything wedding that is coming up!

Since I live in San Diego, I knew it would be hard to get everyone down to San Diego and with everyone’s busy schedule, I needed to find a location that was easy for everyone to get to. When I saw that InterContinental Hotel and Resorts had a hotel at Century City LA, I knew it would be the perfect place to host my “pre-bachelorette weekend” Not only is it easier for my everyone to get to, it is an incredible location! It is located close to the Century City Mall that has so many incredible shops, restaurants, etc. It’s a short uber ride to Westwood, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, and the Sunset Strip!  Each room is beautifully appointed and each room has private balconies or terraces, and panoramic views of Los Angeles.

Not to mention each room had the comfiest robes and slippers which were a big hit with my girlfriends. I loved the fact that they also had almost every toiletry you may need, and the beds have to be some of the comfiest beds we slept on at a hotel, we literally talked about it for days! 

The hotel had plenty of food options as well! Cooper’s Lounge is located downstairs where we enjoyed handcrafted cocktails, selected whiskeys and nibbled on small plates.

Truthfully, I had one of the best stays ever at a hotel from InterContinental Hotel and Resorts.  The property offers everything from an incredibly kind staff to beautifully appointed rooms. It made for the perfect setting to enjoy this incredible time in my life. Not to mention how each piece from Party City played an integral part of the weekend. Wearing the sash that said, “bride” was so surreal, looking down as I cheered my girlfriends with the cups to match reminded me of the first time they placed the veil on my head, it hits you, you are a BRIDE!!!
