11 Tips For a Healthy Relationship

1. Have something to call your own, having your own personal interests and activities allows you to bring something new to the relationship.

2.  Send reminders, a flirty text,  flowers or a hand written note. We get so busy that we sometimes forget to connect. We let the less important stuff get in the way of the bigger picture, each other.
3. Have separate friends, let him have his guys night and you have your girl time. It’s important to keep outside connections.

4. Don’t blast your personal issues out on social media, a relationship is an intimate bond between two people, keep you  “problems” to yourself not your Facebook feed!

5.  TALK to each other, don’t ask the normal how was your day  question. Really invest, did you learn something new today, how did that make you feel? What was the most interesting thing that happened to you  today?!

6. Stay intimate, busy schedule, set aside time during the week or  have a quickie!

7. Working late, try and spend at least 30 minutes with your loved one, when you get home. Unplugging from the world outside allows you both to connect and recharge.

8.Are you at the level of  combining money, remember to be open and honest with your spending habits.

9. Try new things together, a cooking class, a work out class,  or that hiking trail you have been eyeing!

10. Don’t ever go to bed angry, we are not promised tomorrow.

11. STOP comparing yourself to other couples!
