Hormone Happy Blueberry Bites

I will admit I love eating protein bars through out the day but after speaking to my prenatal nutritionist she told me to try and actually eat more whole foods for snacks, like fruits or veggies but sometimes I don’t feel like either so when I have days like those I whip up these bites, they last about a week in the fridge and are great for freezing but never last that long!

I hope you enjoy these as much as Neil and I do! Below I have not only included the ingredients and why they are important to your hormones.

OATS: Are a  high-fiber carbohydrate that has a low glycemic index which aids in improving fertility outcomes.

BANANAS: Are rich in both  potassium and vitamin B6, B6 has been known to help regulate the bodies hormones and menstrual cycle.

BLUEBERRIES : Contain phytonutrients loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, which help boost both female and male fertility.*

GROUND FLAXSEED : High in both Omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids which your body needs to balance hormone.

GOJI BERRIES : They are full of anti-oxidants and have been shown to increase sperm counts. They also have been shown to promote follicle development in women who are having trouble ovulating.*

CHOCOLATE : A serving of dark chocolate includes fiber, iron, copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, and selenium. These minerals help hormonal balance, maintain the DNA integrity of eggs and sperm, and also increases sperm count.*
